Software for the GoPro??

Im getting a GoPro HD for my birthday and im picking it up in a few days and was wondering what software is good with a PC for editing and making skiing edits and other video type stuff.

should i get jusst the regular hd version or the vegas 9 because those are the only reasonably priced ones

definitely hd, the regular one really doesn't look all that good. totally worth 100 bucks

get mpeg streamclip too. it's a free utility. vegas doesn't handle .mp4 footage very well, which is what the gopro shoots in, so it's useful to convert to avi before you edit.

im using the demo for vegas 9 right now but the gopro videos play like they are glitchy and studdering but when i play them on my computer there fine. any solutions?

could be because your computer is just too slow. I have a pretty fast laptop and it struggles hard with the gopro footage cause its such high quality...
