Summer camps in Europe?

Hey guys,

I'm wanting to do something like a week (learning) freestyle at a summer session, and I can only find one or two companies that do them (one is les deux alps, one in Tignes). Anyone got any ideas if there are any more?

I think you should be a bit more specific about what you are looking for, like, does the camp has to be in France, which language should be spoken on the camp etc.
I was last summer in Les Deux Alpes, and there are a lot of freeski camps who go there. It's a great place for summer skiing, because it has the best summerpark of Europe to ski and tons of afternoon activities for when the mountain is closed.
If you want to go to Les Deux Alpes I could look a few things up for you if you like, just let me know =)

I was going to make a thread on this at some point and ask the same


i would be looking for somewhere cheap to go ski - ideally i would want the instructors to speak english, although to be honest my skill set is such that i wouldn't need to be taught how to slide rails, jump etc. because i can already do that ( unless it was like throwing corks or front flips, stuff i can't do yet)

so yeah like the op asked any more info/ websites would be good

i have googled but it is difficult to know which ones are legit and good and which ones arent...

Yeh, maybe I was a bit sketchy on the details. Erm, I'd prefer if it was in France, yes, but English spoken.

I'm a competent enough skier, but I've only just started freestyle, so I can straight air, do flat 360's, and can just about railslide. I could do more, but I need my confidence boostying a bit! I know that the couple of camps I've looked at are suitable for beginner freestylers. I'm thinking of doing 1 week, maybe 2, depending on the price. I'm looking at a maximum of £1500  for the week (or 2 weeks) for everything - lift pass, instruction, activities, meals, accomodation and transport.

Any info you've got would be awesome!!

Well, I think you should be able to afford two weeks of camp with that amount of money. I used not even half of that to stay there three weeks, appartement, pass, food, party, everything. Seems like a little bit of instruction can't be that expensive.
Anyway, I looked a couple of camps up of which I could remember the name, but I doubt of any of them is usefull to you.

- SnoTribe http://www.lineskis.co.uk Don't know of they still come to L2A tho, don't think I say them past summer

Axis summer camp and Salomon Jib Academy, but I'm pretty sure they are French. Armada Freeski Project, but they're Dutch.
That's kinda all I can remember at this point, sorry I'm not more helpfull
