This is my second season with salomon guns. I am good powder tree skier, my last skis were atomic sugar daddys, im 6' 170 ( my spelling is horrible i now)
Powder: i ski mostly heavyer coastal snow. I like the dimensions there fat without being too big if you know what i mean. There sit able to link snappy turns in the trees but still float in the deep 30cm+. I find myself struggling to keep my tips above the snow when im straight lining somtimes. Maybe an early rise ski would be better somthing like the czar or shogun ( i think there early rise).
Park/ groomers: the guns can link up some fast turns on the cords, but i found they dont do well in icy condistions. Its like the tips arent stiff enought and the tails are. Ive never done any park riding, ive got a different pair of park skis. but i think the bases would get rat bagged doing rails judgeing from the bases after hitting little pebbles.
Sparknotes: a light poppy small underfoot powder ski that can link turns in the groomers, and great in 40cm of powder or less. has lots of flex in the front and a bit stiffer in the back. best suited to a lighter skier in lighter colder snow conditsions
