And panda, 70% is a C- which is 1.7, a C (73-76) is 2.0 at least at my college it is

At EWU as long as you get a 70 you get a 2.0 for your grade. A little different for everyone I guess.

It's interesting how different school systems can be. if 70% was a B here, i'd have like a 3.5+gpa.

Yeah in BC 70% is a C+, and is pretty average. Really depends on the class though.
