Line anthem - top sheet damage

yo need a little help here

spent a couple of years riding on my all terrain skis in the park and decided it was about time to get some park skis so i went with the line anthems after trying a friend's out. i bought this yrs edition and had them mounted with px12's. after skiing on them for 2-3 days-- half in the park half on all mountain terrain -- the top sheet already split on the inside of my left ski by the heel of the binding

anybody else have this issue with line skis and the top sheet damage? i remember hearing about this prob but i also heard that they fixed it with there "new tech." was pretty happy with them for how they performed in the park but after this i'm thinking this is my first and last experience with line. website says warranty only covers manufacturing problems.. anybody have any repair solutions? epoxy work?

my friend has line masterminds, and 2 days his top sheets were gnarly.  core shots.

If it is only to the fiberglass then it is fine.  If it is too the core, through some epoxy on them, or what I did with my invaders is gorilla glue, then file it down.  Works like a charm.

Haha same exact setup as me and yeah 2 weeks on them and all of the sides that is happening. Just really soft top sheets

yeah i have last years invaders and that happened to me pretty quickly, for me it doesnt seem to affect the performance of the ski at all, just makes em look more beat up and worn. i wouldnt worry too much about cus it happens with most of line's park skis, but in my opinion it has no affect on the performance of the ski in and out of the park

^^^ my Invaders top sheet is uggggly but it doesnt effect the performance at all. You should be fine.

yeah anthems just chip like mad. ive had mine for just over a season and they are not doing well

shoulda seen my old invaders... the entire sidewall was basically gone tip to tail on both sides of both skis. and the tips and tails looked like they were put in a paper shredder. they were the 08's though so im guessing they fixed it. super fun ski though

word, thanks for the input. don't feel so bad not that i know its not just me with this issue. line wouldn't replace them as i thought so epoxy time

My anthems looked destroyed. And that was mostly because i crossed my skis.. Line's quality is shitty

I had the same problem with my k2s idk if its the same but im pretty sure it doesnt do anything to the ski, but thats just mine

damn, i don't know what i'm doing right, but i've had invaders for 3 years, and have been on anthems for 30 days, no problems with either ski.

*Correction: Line's topsheet is shitty.  Line's quality is excellent.  And I have 07 invaders and they aren't bad, its the topsheet, if you are going to cry about a scratch or chip then go to the bunny hill.  Skis get scratched, bit deal.
