Remounting bindings ?

ive got line anthems with marker griffons, which were just replaced under warranty. i carefully removed them with a posidrive and im wondering if its safe to re-mount them in the same spots. i imagine ill need to put adhesive or sealant of some kind in the holes. just wondering what to use. thank you

if you know what you are doing, yea its no big deal

use wood glue as the adhesive.

put a SMALL amount in each hole, and just drill the bindings back into place.

the most important thing in this case is make sure there is nothing like core shavings or anything in the holes themselves. If there are, when you remount, the base will bubble and you will not be stoked.

just put the ski upside down and bang it a couple of times, you should be fine after that.

other than that it should be easy brah

yeah dude just wood glue or gorilla glue the holes and put the screws in if they do strip however you will need to get heli coils for the stripped ones

yeah make sure there is nothing at all in the hole and make sure the screws are not too big.  when i mounted a pair of bindings myself i didn't check screw size and now have a bubble in one of my skis. anyone know if i can get it out somehow?

is it pratical and well not very damaging to the ski to get the binding remounted for a 3rd time. sent my skis to cleves (canadian version of dicks, wasnt my first choise but my dads) and they rear mounted the shit out of them and managed to fuck the size up even though we gave them my boots. asking for centermount the second time again they still fuck up and manage to mount them about a inch forward. cleves had they chance and fucked it so now im going to a1 the pros. would it be bad for the ski to get a 3rd set of holes drilled

Yeah, use some epoxy and some steel wool shavings, if you can.

baggytee, see if a base grind would help your problem.

a base grind would seem like a good idea, but the it might grind through all the ptex where the bump is.  does anyone know if a shop will remount bindings on a pair of skis with a bump in em?
