Most people here on NS who watch MMA will have no idea who Houston Alexander is.


And my other thing, Hulk being at the show is no big deal. I haven't seen The Ultimate Finale yet so don't tell me but I assumed they just panned a camera to look at him. The Undertaker, Steve Austin, and Kurt Angle I think Have shown up to Brock Lesnar's fights to support him and Hulk Hogan is a part of TNA which is also broadcasted on Spike. Just cross promoting for the network, no big deal.

The hilarious part, is that Fedor Emelianenko (the guy getting dropped on his head) rolls out and makes Randleman (the black dude) tap to a kimura something like 10 seconds after landing on his head.

He was a completely different fighter on the ground tonight. I was very impressed. Controlled Alexander on the ground no problem. Absolutely nothing happened in the first round. Alexander circled for literally the entire five minutes. Second round Kimbo ran train. Third round, they had some nice exchanges on the feet.

you can skip the first round. second and third round were pretty good, kimbo looked really solid during the fight.

I  cant believe it! kimbo cant fight for shit! Go back and watch houstons fights! they are not in the same class! he ran, and then was tapping his leg waiting for a counter punch. I dont like the guy but it was clearly a dive.

kimbo has a fucked up knee which he hurt during TUF season, not for sure on anythng but he may have been trying to take advantage of that cause i heard he threw a lot of leg kicks...

Sweet Jesus, the knee injury on Kimbo (arthritis) was pretty well documented in the TUF season, Houston was trying to get the leg kicks in to attack that knee and the problem is that when you try to take advantage of that but the guy you are fighting has a reach advantage you have to pick your shots.

Basically, go back to jerking off to Brock Lesnar and his "cock to the throat" tattoo of his.

that fight was pathetic to watch. maybe 5 seconds of good fighting in it. they were both dead tired from just circling the cage.

i still wouldn't come near them though.

they both gassed VERY hard.

kimbo is very rudimentary still in his movements and transitions.

he will have a rude awakening once he fights a guy his own size...he needs to find his gas tank FAST.

he should start training at altitude cause obviously ATT isnt pushing him to be able to go 3 5's HARD.

and the randleman slam was better, but i personally went fucking nuts when kiimbo did that slam, since noone would have guessed that he was capable of that.

the real fight of the night was the bones jones fight. he is gonna be the next anderson silva mark my words!
