its really good, expect its kinda laggy.like when you flip open the phone to answer a call or check a text, it takes a second for the keys to get oriented

I disagree I've had the dare for almost a year now without any problems and I love it.  You just need to make sure you keep your software up to date.  The touch screen is really responsive and the internet browser is pretty legit.  The music player kinda sucks tho thats my only critique

I've had mine for a year, and my ONLY problem with it, is that it takes like 20 seconds to exit out of the "message sent" screen. I keep it up to date too. for being a pack of cards sized all touch phone, it's taken a surprising amout of abuse and kept on kicking.

i had the dare for about 8 months and it worked pretty well. little laggy toward the end but thats normal. my only problem was how quiet it was, that shit was annoying. but other than that, i dropped it mad times and even dropped it in a puddle. and it worked perfect.

if you dont pay $30 a month for data your phone is going to be a retarded phone that looks fancy but all it can do is talk and text.

So either buy a POS to get by, spend a little more on a POS to get you a POS w/ a qwerty keyboard. Or buy the real deal. Droid / Eris


I was hesitant at first about $30 data, but this $30 data plan for me has done a few things for me;

I can check paypal / banks / everything on the go
I canceled my XM subscription (even though I was getting it for $3.99 a month) because I can now listen to streaming radio via shoutcast or pandora and plug it in to my car's aux. input. CD quality, no commercials, and free
I can check e-mail on the go / work on the go
I can use it as a GPS, no more swapping GPS in and out of vehicles
I reduced my texting plan to the smallest plan on Verizon saving me like $10 alone right there, because I use google voice for unlimited text messages.

My bill is $97 a month, but hey before this it was $61 a month, so whats another $36?

If you can't afford VZW, go to Sprint. Next best carrier and their plans are about 20% cheaper.

I have the Env Touch and love it, my brothers both have the Env 3 and think the same of it. So I don't think you could go wrong on any one of those.

i've got the en v 3, and i love it.

I had to buy an industrial strength case for it though becuase i tend to have terrible luck with breaking phones
