How do you store you skis?

Hey NS, i was wondering just how you guys store your skis when your not using them other than just keeping them in a corner of the garage oh wherever, i have one in my room now, and i dont really like it, so i was hoping you could show my some of your ski racks, to give me some ideas on a better way to display my skis in my room,

(i'am betting that someone is just gonna take a pic of their in a skis in a crappy corner of their garage, please dont.)

i think its so the spring doesn't relax when its under pressure, makes them last longer, im assuming,

And please post pics, of some interesting rack design or a unique way to store them safely and shows the top sheet too,

eh somewhat debatable and depends on bindings, but it is certainly not a bad idea

i put my skis in the basement, or in my room if they're new and i want to look at them

i also put summer storage wax on the ones i wax regularly

I just lean mine up against the wall in the corner of my room, but if you want a good storage spot, put a couple big hooks or pegs on your wall and put them up there kind of like a gun rack.

haha yeah man during the summer i keep them in my room right next to my bed jsut for tht reason.

but during the winter.....honestly i keep them in a corner in my garage

I have a rack on my bedroom wall for 3 pairs, so I put them there. I'm going to sell my 4th pair, 3 is enough.

in my basement hung up on by their bindings on a wooden worksmens horse helps clean them too

i dare to say more than 70% of ns'ers keep at least 1 pair in their room during the off months.

If i didn't keep them in my room i'd be making multiple trips a day down to the garage to fondle and spoon them.

i just thought of something cool. take an old ski, attach to wall, find old pole handles/grips. attach to wall below or above ski close together so you could stick ski tips in them and setup a hanging ski rack made out of skis and poles.

i keep some in the utility room in the basement. i keep some in my bedroom hanging next to my bed.

i actually built a custom ski rack thats attached to the wall in the utility room and it holds just about every pair of skis in my family. i believe we have around 18 or 19 pair. ide have to count.

I made this out of a peice of hardboard I found. It turned out pretty good and its a nice way to store your skis.

last post i swear....

first skis hanging in room with those screw in bike hooks that you get at home depot or any other hardware store.

next skis hanging vertically in garage, disregard life jacket, dry bag, the area doubles as kayak stuff in summer. this is where skis go right after skiing when i am to lazy to carry them downstairs, or they are old skis i dont care as much about.

they are all in fact my skis or my brothers skis. except the childs skis on the bottom (my sisters) and couple of pairs of gaper skis at the top. (my parents)

haha i do live in MN, however i do have the privilege of skiing out west a couple of trips a year. haha i dont exactly plan to ride the bents on ice all year in MN. haha and the comi's need to be going about mock 10 before you can lay them over for a turn. haha

i did also work my ass off for every pair of skis in the pics, my parents did not contribute one dime towards anything.

Wall mount in the garage that has the skis hang in a vertical fashion. If I could get pics I would. Unfortunately, I am in a dorm room, and not at home.

the comi's are my brothers. and the LL2s showed up on NS for pretty cheap (new, no binders) so my brother and i picked those up for next to nothing.

the comi's are fucking beasts. you click into those things and you are in for a ride. hahaha
