Why does NS run on military time?

something i've always wondered. it's especially annoying in cult chats, trying to figure out if the last post is in a recent hour.
i realize that quite a few other countries work on the 24-hour clock, and that NS is not just for the US, but i feel like the vast majority of users are from north america.

just me thinking out loud

ns is based out of montreal, quebec where stupid frenchies use the 24 hour clock, so we use use it im assuming.

i live in the us, and i like to use a 24 hour clock sometimes, keeps it simple

military time does not bother me. the fact that its military time synced to the east coast does. maybe it could be adjusted for those who set their location as being on a different time zone? i realize some dont give a place where theyre from, but maybe for those who do...

exactly. its annoying enough for me to adjust to the 24 hour clock, but adjusting for mountain time on top of that is a pain

They should make it the amount of seconds since Jan 1st 1970, it makes things alot easier not having hours or minutes.
