500 isn't dirt cheap, but it's way cheaper than other skis. Go on Line's website and look at the price of EP Pro's or Bacons, or even the Prophet series (except the flites). Those are all more than 5 h's.
Face it, skis cost money. Why are lift ticket's so expensive? It's because the resort has to manage a payroll, buy power to run the lifts and diesel for the cats, buy explosives for pow days, et cetera.
The same goes for skis. Making them is a lengthy process (check out ON3P's website for info on the construction process of the skis they make, most skis follow a very similar process) which requires a great deal of skill and experience. The materials don't come super cheap. Then, when the ski company sells the skis to a store, they have to make a profit. Then when the store sells to you, they want a cut as well. So the price goes up. If you want to eliminate that middleman, check out CoreUPT, they sell directly to you on the internets.
Unfortunately, you can only do that if you know how to use the internet, which apparently you have no clue about, seeing as you ask about where to find Rossi Scratches. SEARCHBAR, man. And not NS's searchbar, but the fucking GOOGLE searchbar.
Here, let me do you a big fat favor. Click on THIS LINK
to find out where you can buy skis.
What the fuck were you doing?! One looks like a failed abortion and the other like something from chicken run. [ski-plastic]
