technically speaking the j120 does even need any foredeck work with furling jib and a sprit......

false. do you think the spinnaker packs itself down the hatch? and do you think the jib falls neatly without snagging everytime? i think not. Of course its easier compared to a boat with a symmetrical spin, but its stil necesary

I'm too tall for 420s. I sailed them for a while until I gat suck of getting hit by the boom all the time. Plus living in CO kinda sucks for sailing. But I'll take skiing any day. Still though I race J22s and J24s on Lake Dillon in the summer. I know I just posted this pic a minute ago, but it's so sick I gotta post it again.

Some bowman you are - furling jibs when racing. shame on you lazy sailor. How do you set up and help pit gybe a 1800 sq foot chute? Always fly the number 3 too? Or just use the same sail every race. Starts can't be very fun without a foredeck either, but yeah - theres no need for us on the j/111 as well.

Sold my Sabre a couple of years ago. Wish I could get back into sailing. I just dont have the time right now. I came 11th in the country in 2004 for Sabres which was great fun.
