Everything starts during the distant, black-and-white
1964, when the first snowboarder sets foot on a snowy slope, using a
handmade board. Naturally, his board becomes the object of laughter and
constant jokes and insults, coming from the nearby skiers. The
snowboarding has had a long and tough time of acceptance and thus,
shortly after its invention, the skiers gladly watched its flame fade.
The return of the snowboard comes with a lot of hesitation, the skis
are light years ahead and the boards those days only caused laughter
and sarcasm.

With the development of snowboarding, the skiers’ envy grows larger – it becomes clear, that skis are only good for funny dressed women with moustaches and glasses but no one dares to confess it and the government is afraid to take sides. Just around these early, unclear times no.ski is born.
no.ski is not a joke, or a thought or even a brilliant idea. no.ski is fate, karma and now – a reality. The feeling born in the first boarders and passed through all these years, changed by the vortex of time, altered by the human influence and bent by the ice pendants. It evolves into a mood, hovering above the snowy tracks… Many of you still deny it, many of you claim that this is all bag of crap, but you all feel it… Few of you dare to name it. But this is all a part of the past. Now, the mocked become the mocking.
Nowadays, the idea of no.ski is something that every snowboarder thinks of and something, that the skiers don’t dream about even in their worst nightmares. In January 2008 the concept idea of no.ski was said aloud and the preparation of turning the movement into reality has begun – no.ski.CREW.
