Been to crystal, cannonsburg, bittersweet, timber ridge, boyne mtn / highlands, nubs nob, shanty creek (both hills), caberfae, and maybe a few others?

I bought a pass to Crystal this year for $249 though. Only 2 hours away and $249, not bad. I'll be at Cannonsburg during the week days a lot before work though

lived in gaylord all my life minus the first six months

i live right between otsego club and treetops

i ski both and teach at treetops

but i also make it out to boyne 4 or 5 days a month

it's close and i teach there, but they usually have a pretty good park setup. lot's of rails and the jumps arent to shabby if the snow is good. they make due with what they have definitely.

its honestly cool they have 1 open ski weekend at least. I am sure there are reasons they like to keep it private, and not open to the public.

Hahaha thats like choosing which leg you would rather have cut off. Both options are pretty much crap. Pine knob usually has a better park. But I would choose to ride alpine any day, practically grew up there.

good point, i like the park at alpine just cuz it usually flows well together, like last year they had 21 rails, i believe, and it was just nice that you could hit at least 4 in a run

True that man. I went to alpine like 3 times or so and they had a pretty good amount of rails up. I will probably be there often this season.  Along with holly and crystal and possibly pine knob.

Eeeeeeh, cannonsburg is 10 minutes from my house, but Bohemia is by far my favorite in Michigan. I just wish Sugarloaf would re-open! My family has had a condo there forever and it's just sucks the hill is going to waste.

sugarloaf, that place has serious potential. it'd be the perfect place for some millionaire to buy and pimp it out. (pool, hill, huge lodge, airport, etc.)
