So i've been researching way too much lately on a lot of cameras, and due to recent money situations, i've narrowed down my choices to 2 options.. both are used but very very cheap.
First is the Canon HV30 (how original? i know right..) well basically i could pick up this little sweety for $600 but it come with... drum roll please... a Velbon Dv7000 fluid head tripod... so that kinda stuck out nicely..
Last is the Canon Vixia HF100. I could get it for $400. doesn't come with much but reviews say it's good and that's all i have to go off of right now.
I've researched them both immensly (so i'm just gonna leave out all the little specs for viewer pleasure).
I'm just an intermediate filmer but i'm looking to get more into it, plus i'm in a couple film classes in school and i'd like a nicer camera.
oh, and another catch. My computer that i'm using right now is... well.. a piece. It's an XP pro from 2002 with 1.25 GB of RAM. I know i'd have to get a firewire port in my computer to upload but i've got the money. I can also spend about another $300 after the purchase of the camera for other items (both camera wise, and computer wise). and i'm editing on sony vegas pro.
so if that's all you need to know,
+k for help!!
