White Philadelphia Officer Fired For Wearing Cornrows!

29 reports " A cornrow controversy has emerged in the Philadelphia Police Department after an officer was pulled off street duty because of his hair cut. The Daily News reported in Monday's editions that the 35th District officer was placed on desk duty. The newspaper said the white officer remained on desk duty for two days until he cut off the braids. A police spokesperson said the officer's supervisor did not believe the hair style was professional."

he is a police officer, who has to look the part. Its simple. What he got is what he deserved. He didn't  lose his job.

This is really news?  Why cant the news ever tell stories about good tihngs that happen?  I miss small towns.  i use to live in Summit COunty, CO.  They have a local newspaper, the fromt page always (like 95% of the time) had good things to tell aobut. Something that someone did for another or sometihng liekthat.
