other than training off snow, you need to build strength in your legs to hit the jump and your upper body to spin. if you use your arms to wind up, your spin will look hucked, but if you spin with your shoulders and your hips, you'll have a smoother motion.

i had a very hard time getting grabs in to my spins, so if you learn or re-learn how to spin properly, dont even try to grab. just learn to set and land your spin and the rest will be st-easy.
oh, and this is also the technique for setting a real cork 3, you can do them with no wind-up.
