How do I use construction fence for summer setup?

so im thinking about buying construction fence for my summer, or should i say, fall setup, and i was wondering if it will work if i just lay it down on the ground with nothing underneath it? thanks for the help. karma for responses.

if your planning on just having laying on your grass, it might work.  your lawn has to be short or packed down so no pieces of grass GO THROUGH the holes of the fence.  if this happens you will lose all of your speed and it will be a complete wate of time.  just buy a couple pieces of ply wood, then lay them down and staple the construction fencing onto it and you will have a clean and fast surface.

note** staple it down  in the middle so your skis will go inbetween the staples instead of over them then terefore ruining your bases.

dont use construction fence. use white plastic trellis stuff. so much epic speed. secure it at each upper corner with a nail and wet it down. youll be breaking speed records lol

check the prices of both of them, i have construction fence and turf on mine. if you keep everything clear of any grass, youll be fine. construstion site are notorious for leaving extra construction fencing lying around, just go at night with some friends and take a roll. 1 roll is enough

i took 1 of the 3 rolls beside a busy street infront of my work at 5 pm. not the smartest idea but definitely better than turf

if you need cheap turf, go to an indoor soccer place and they usually throw the stuff out by the 20ft roll every season. Its a little bit worn down, but it does fine for the setup
