The evolution of the peppered moth over the last two hundred years has been studied in detail. Originally, the vast majority of peppered moths had light colouration, which effectively camouflaged them against the light-coloured trees and lichens which they rested upon. However, because of widespread pollution during the Industrial Revolution in England, many of the lichens died out, and the trees that peppered moths rested on became blackened by soot, causing most of the light-coloured moths, or typica, to die off from predation. At the same time, the dark-coloured, or melanic, moths, carbonaria, flourished because of their ability to hide on the darkened trees.

Evolutionists argue that this is an example of macro-evolution, indicating steps toward a new species. I say it's micro-evolution, changes within a species. Since then, the moths have reverted to being mostly lightly colored. No net change.

Newton didn't know how gravity worked. He thought it was powered by god. Correct me with wikipedia if I am wrong about newton but the kids who I quoted just had a fucktarded statement about his theory of gravity being as valid as einsteins.

there is no such thing as micro and macro evolution. They are the same thing, except with macro evolution being on a larger timescale.

I assume you are suggesting that speciation does not occur, even though there is a ridiculous amount of evidence for it and we can even witness it today.
Simply google speciation and it will give you a plethora of examples.

All you have to do is look at dogs and wolves.

  • Origin of life:
    Louis Pasteur disproved spontaneous generation of life. Sir Fred Hoyle and Charles Wickramasinghe stated in their book, Evolution from Space, that “they estimated the probability of forming a single enzyme or protein at random, in a rich ocean of amino acids, was no more than one in 10 to the 20th power.” Next, they calculated the likelihood of forming all of the 2000+ enzymes used in the life forms of earth. This probability was calculated at one in 10 to the 40,000th power.   • Development of life and the tree of life:
    Evolutionists believe all life developed from the original life that Sir Fred Hoyle said had no chance of occurring. Nevertheless, evolutionists have postulated an evolutionary tree of life showing how the various life forms developed. If their postulate were correct, many transitional life forms would have existed between the ancestor and the descendant’s time. Now, after 150 years of searching for fossils since Darwin, zero transitional fossils have been found of the millions of fossils collected. Confirming this lack of evidence is Gould's oft-quoted words: "The extreme rarity of transitional forms in the fossil record persists as the trade secret of paleontology. The evolutionary trees that adorn our textbooks have data only at the tips and nodes of their branches; the rest is inference, however reasonable, not the evidence of fossils. . .I wish in no way to impugn the potential validity of gradualism. I wish only to point out that it was never seen in the rocks."

  • DNA and complexity:
    Recent advances in microbiology have shown the incomprehensible complexity of DNA and the living cell. The human DNA molecules are the chromosomes that comprise the human genome. The purpose of the DNA is to specify the information for the human blueprint. Information is separate from the chemicals that are just the media for the information. Only intelligence can generate information. How can we believe that such complicated information could have generated randomly?

    New knowledge about the cell is equally incompatible with random origin. A cell is extremely complex and the way it performs its functions is similar to a sophisticated factory. The way DNA is self-repairing, the way RNA works with DNA, and the way proteins are synthesized using RNA templates screams of a Designer.

  • Dualism/Consciousness:
    Scientists have found that the brain and mind are separate entities. Wilder Penfield said, “Through performing surgery on more than a thousand epileptic patients, he encountered concrete evidence that the brain and the mind are actually distinct from each other, although they clearly interact."

Also, much physical evidence exists that directly supports creation and a young earth. One is evidence that shows that everything on earth is undergoing devolution rather than evolution. Just because something looks too complex doesnt make it so. There are many processes in nature that we now understand, which just look complex/designed to you because you cant think of how else they were formed.




Once again, you clearly have ignored every piece of evidence i have presented, and decided to go on a biased, creationist website which does not back up any of its points with real scientific evidence, or have any peer reviewed articles published by real scientists in real scientific journals.

You clearly have ignored all the evidence i have posted.


None of the things you have posted are made by real biologists who publish their work in peer reviewed journals. Thats how science works!!!
You come up with a hypothesis, test it, and if it works, you publish it for other scientists to review meticulously, and if after the review nobody has found any faults, it becomes a theory.
None of the "evidence" you have posted has gone through this process. It is simply people making things up because they cant accept the truth. There is no factual basis behind any of this.

Watch the videos i have posted and then please explain what else i can do in order to prove you wrong.

I tried to do both these things earlier in the thread, but then I just got called ignorant  and never got a complete answer (which with your knowledge should have been a quick easy answer).

Also I think you are looking at this the wrong way, evolution is not a proven fact, therefore you should be looking at how you can prove it is a fact and not just defend it.

also if you really think that the Bible is a "2000 year old book of fairytales", I truely really do feel bad for you.

Evolution is a proven fact, we can witness it happening every day. The "theory" part of evolution only refers to exactly how and why it occurs.

WHat i meant by my comment about the bible is that it is not a scientific book. It cannot be used as evidence in any scientific discussion.

Evolution explains the diversity of life. Not the origin of the universe. You dont expect the theory of gravity to explain how cells work, so why are you bringing the origin of the universe up.
This thread is about evolution, discuss evolution please.

And can you PLEASE just watch the videos ive posted before making another comment in this thread? Because it is painfully obvious that you are making no effort to even look at any of the evidence presented for evolution...

Evolution doesn't 'go against' creation. It is just how shit works. Creation is not a valid theory, so evolution cant really go against it.



I believe the big bang theory. There is some evidence backing it and i have heard no other theory with more evidence backing it than the big bang theory.
Nobody knows what happened before the big bang. You cannot claim to know. You have no evidence for it, i have no evidence for it, it is an unknown. Discussing it will get nobody anywhere.



Now can we please finish discussing evolution? Because to me, it looks like you realize that evolution is a fact and dont want to admit it, so you change the subject.

I dont see how religion has anything to do with it. It is a scientific theory/a generally accepted fact. Being christian has nothing to do with one's ability to look at evidence and come to conclusions. (unless you chose to be ignorant because you dont like thnking that god didnt make you.)

i dont call myself christian.  to be honest, i dont really believe in a major religion.  i like some of the ideas that buddhism but to be honest i guess i just dont like to think i fit in one particular religious catergory.  and the idea of Christianity that God decides everything that happens kinda scares me.  and if he does exist he has a cruel sense of humor...  dropping church roofs on his followers.
