all of those are stop motion movies....
sorry I meant its his first digital animation movie....I know he used it a bit for Corpse Bride, but the major part of that movie was stop motion...

Ahhh, yeah I guess I still consider stop motion animation. It's giving life to inanimate objects.

But this definitely looks cool. The C&C song worked nicely with the trailer.

for how much you guys hyped the trailer, I am honestly disappointed.. It looked absolutely retarded IMO.. I wont be seeing it.

Tim Burton's made some cool movies that I enjoyed but for some reason there's some people who love the guy and his movies wayyyyy to much.

is he not just the producer or something for this and there is another director?  I may be mistaken or that may be for another film.  still looks rad though.

and whoever said they are tired of people liking him because there is an image behind him are we not allowed to respect a man for his art?

You misunderstood me, and I guess freezed but I won't speak for him. I really like Tim Burton's work. I've always respected the dude. It's just the people who think they are just super edgy for wearing a Nightmare Before Christmas t-shirt or something along those lines. And people who try to bring him up into any conversation they get in to. There's not a lot of these people, just enough that I notice that they piss me off.

I think he is only the producer, not the director, but all the main sketches and ideas come from him.
his art is great and that is why i adore him. he has his own style, and we can constantly see it in his movies. You know its a Tim Burton movie when you see one.

Saw it today, pretty sick visuals and CG. I thought it was a good movie, nothing super amazing but worth seeing.

And FYI Tim Burton did [b]NOT[/b] direct this movie. Shane Acker did, Tim Burton just produced it meaning he helped fund it and helped promote the film. I'm shure he had influence in the movie too.

But yeah, it was good so go see it.

I am a huge fan of Tim Burton, and this movie was by far one of his greatest. last night i was going to get my lip peirced with one of my really good friends and 10 minutes before we go my best friend's girl calls me and says we are going to green bay to see it(it is a 3:30 hour drive to green bay, closest movie theater playing it where i live.) so we all pack into my friends car and went and saw it. it was dope as fuck, i loved all the metaphors in it and i went with some good friends. I didnt get home till 4 am this morning and had class at 10.......

THIS MOVIE WAS NOT DIRECTED OR MADE BY TIM BURTON, JESSUS CHRIST. SHANE ACKER DIRECTED IT AND CREATED THE WHOLE THING. TIM BURTON JUST PRODUCED IT.

The whole movie 9 is based of a short film Shane Acker did in 2005...go watch it on youtube.

Sorry for blowing up but seriously, its stupid to think that Tim Burton directed this movie or to even compare it to his other films because he really had nothing to do with it besides help fund and promote it.

The movie looks like something Tim Burton would do so we only assumed that he had an integral part in it. I see no reason why it's stupid to believe that. You need to get that sand out of your vagina.
