The police said they did not believe the shotgun — a Winchester 12-gauge pump shotgun with a pistol grip handle — had been registered, as city law requires. The police also recovered the pistol used by the would-be robber.

Not really that cool at all. He did not want to have to shoot anyone. I don't know what world you guys live in where living with the knowledge that you've killed a man is cool. He did what he had to do, and protected himself and his employees, but he didn't want to do that.

agreed.

I totally agree guns come in handy at times and its always cool to think of using them as self defense but in all actuality, i would never want to kill somebody unless it was absolutely necessary. that would be a horrible experience.
