I've yet to see him live but I've heard great things. Obviously he's a young artist so you aren't going to have a huge set-up like you'd get at a huge name like a Jay-Z or Nas.
One thing I can comment on is his lighting. John Goldstein is the same guy who did the lighting for Kanye's Glow in the Dark tour. Which if you don't know was widely praised as one of the best technical lighting shows in the music business. So be totally stoked to see that when you see Cudi live!

yeah, i saw him and asher roth in concert and hes not the most amazing performer ive ever seen, but the show is pretty dope... there are a lot of colors and flashing lights that look pretty legit if you are fucked up but he doesnt have a ton of energy. overall its a sick show and i would recommend seeing it but i think asher roth performed better
I hope you are kidding. Cudi could be in a coma and his performance would be better then ashers. I have seen asher roth live, and if i paid more then $5 in nickles and dimes to see him I would have been pissed.
when did you see him? i mean it wasnt the greatest performance ever but i thought he had some pretty funny moments and good energy. plus it got girls dancing so i cant really complain. sorry to hear you didnt like it. maybe it was just a bad night for him
I saw him in March and hour outside of Philly. So he brought it, but I have seen enough rap shows to judge him. Out of every rap show I have been to 3 acts stand out in my mind Jadakiss, Kanye, and 2nd Lil Wayne show. And there are 3 that stand out for bad reason Maino, Young Jeezy, and Kool G Rap.
