MCL, PCL, LCL

So I went for a 2nd opinion on my acl yesterday after many complications after my acl surgery. I found out that my MCL PCL and LCL are all lax. I also have a meniscus tear (3rd one) and scar tissue in the nitch. We are going to scope and fix the mensicus tear and clean out the scar tissue.

What my question is does anyone else have their MCL PCL and LCL lax and ski with them. The doctor thinks that with some therapy my muscles will be able to compensate for the laxitivity and I will be fine. I was just wondering if anyone else had anything similar.

I got a friend who was tackled in football with his foot planted, he snapped ACL, MCL, PCL, LCL, Meniscus and somthing with his patella, he snowboarded on it, no jumps, just cruised, after operation in april he skied the next season and did everything fine

if none are fully torn then they should heal. i just had acl surgery yesterday, my mcl is partial torn but doctors said it would heal on its own. good luck dude, i feel what youre goin through

thanks.. I am just hoping I can ski this year! I had my original acl surgery in jan but with all the complications I am still not allowed to do any physical activity besides walking :( so hopefully I get on the right track here soon!

yeah i had a new pcl put in w/screws 6weeks ago and started pt yesterday. I also have a partial acl tear which wasn't repaired but i was told through the therapy it would come back to normal. But listen to everythin they tell u and take everythin seriously especially the pt. Good luck.
