abode premiere pro

final cut pro-mac

avid

pinnacle

just google some more

the top 2 are the most commonly used depending on your OS

I didnt like vegas all that much.... i use final cut express. great program for the money....

I like Vegas, but i just got a mac and final cut express, so i haven't worked with that yet.

I got final cut express which is pretty nice for a basic editing. If i had more money id go with FCP or vegas. I just find macs eaiser to work with tho

No, some people may prefer another program.  Just because you use it doesn't mean it's the best...or maybe it does, lawlzor...but seriously.

I say end thread because FCP is called the industry standard...............not because I think so. BUT I have used many of the others and nothing even comes close to the things you are able to do in fcp. I have been using fcp for 5 years and every time I sit down I find something new I am able to do. The things they teach you in school are really just scratching the surface of such an amazing software.

What I should've said was that he's asking multiple people on what they use, not just everyone until someone says FCP.

Silly question, but are you exporting them?  If so, are they within the file size limit?

I hope to go to School of Visual Arts. I toured it a few months back and let me tell you. they have around 7 rooms stocked with Mac Pros working exclusively on FCP. I was in awe

I went to MSU for a year on full scholarship for media production but moved back to Colorado to be in the industry. I have been taking classes in fcp for around 4 years now.

yea just make sure that the size is pretty small... mp4 is the smallest file,, quality sucks though, wmv is what i usually use
