Cbar or splice

I just sold my cbars and im tryin to decide what to do. i liked cbars and i was thinkin on makin my own custom pair off oakley.com on the other hand i saw a pic of these splices. and these cbars. i know u guys will say it personal choice but i just want some mopinions.Click for larger image

don't make custom ones off oakley, its way to expensive, its such a rip off. you ahve all summer to make a custom crowbar setup by buying/selling/trading on ns.

Or next years red retro blocs are gonna be pretty sick or those blue and white ones.

I live in Australia and I have tried a pair of splices on.
There more functional and there a bit more comfortable.
Though I don't want to impede on your decision.

at first i didnt like the splices but there growing on me i will probably ended up buying a new lense for my cbars instead

There is a lot more people here with crowbars meaning; you can buy, sell, and trade a lot easier.

That Splice is SOOOOO banging.  I would go for the Splice out of those two.  I'm getting the red retro setup next year.

Its really up to you. I personally think they are both super dope designs. But i like the white/blue crowbar design more than the splice design. I have yet to wear my jp auclair cbars but since there oakley, I used to ski with a frames, they are probably super high quality and very comfortable. So your choice.

id rep cbars for another year or two because the splice is going to be wayyyyy overpriced since its the first season of full blown production.

i wouldnt rep cbars to begin with...but if i was in the situation YOU were in...thats what i would do.

I tryed some splices on and they were really confortable. They are supposed to be bigger than the c-bars but I did not really notice a difference. They are both really good goggles so you can't really go wrong. Don't chose a pair only for the look, try them on if you can and get the ones that you feel fit the best with your face.

no they dont use the same lense they have different venting and different shapes. it all so oakley will make more money cause you will have to buy all new lenses and parts. but ya i think im gonna get cbars cause they are tried and true.

Honestly, I saw Simon train every other day here in Colorado and I didn't even notice he wasn't wearing Crowbars for a few months.  They look so similar it's not even noticeable unless you really care to look.

don't think so.

i heard from a few people that are sponsored by oakley, that the splices are only gonna retail $10-15 more than the c-bars.
