so rule four of the skier responsiblily code says "Before starting out look UPHILL and yield to traffic". This seems to be the most ignored (that's debatable, ppl ignore most of the rules). Many accidents would be avoided if ppl just took a glance behind them up the hill before they started skiing. It also applies to the park.

kind of an interesting rule as how the people in front have the right away and you should normally be looking where you are going so you dont hit someone or something in front of you.

this is true, but if your stopped on the side for you to get up to their speed instantly would be impossible, which is why this is in effect because if your burning down a run and the someone on the side desides to come out in front of you without even looking, whos at fault?

my #1 peeve is people hiding under rollers damn that annoys me

cause then you fly by em and they get mad for almost hitting them, when hiding under rollers is just asking to get hit

i notice it a lot cuz i ski most of the groomers switch. People are just standing there until u get about 20 ft. above them then they just start up and cut you off.

The only real solution to this problem (if you even consider it one)
Is ski somewhere where there aren't tons of ppl.
This should ALWAYS apply in the park though.
