yup, sure does, so does firefox for me though. Come to think of it, all browsers I have used recently suck. Maybe I should try chrome. Oh also, if your going to use safari, just use webkit instead, its almost the exact same and I find it more reliable.
i thought the thing in safari 4 was, they figured out that crashes in browsers [firefox] were mostly because of plugins, and since the browser and the plugins ran in the same process, if one failed it brought the other down, so safari 4 split them?

yep. i'd say about once an hour i get a nice message saying safari has unexpectedly quit. i figured i wasn't the only one. the strange thing is that i was running the beta for a few months before the final release of safari 4, and i never had this problem with the beta.
Wow. That's the message that I get, but I don't get it once an hour. Every couple days though. And I didn't even link it to the new safari, but it has only been happening since I downloaded the update. Damn, because the old one didn't do that.
upgraded my macbook pro to firefox 3.5, hasn't crashed once. it opens faster, loads pages faster, and the trackpad gesture support is pretty on point too. as far as loading and rending web pages, safari is tough to beat, but for general usability and firefox's web development add-ons, firefox wins for me.
