Macbook vs MacBook Pro?

Hey guys. I'm thinking on purchasing a macbook/pro and I'm not quite sure what to get. 15inch macbook pro starts at 1999CAD and the 13 inch at 1149CAD. what do you reccomend? I have a tight budget...is it worth saving up for the pro? I plan on using it for schoolwork, and ski/biking edits... lemme know what you think...

man theres like 10 threads on this, one was made a week ago, and I made one less than a month ago, this is a good example of the searchbar. You could have look at them and made your choice. Sorry if i sounded harsh

But to answer your question, if you're going to be putting a lot of work into editing video etc. I'd go with the Pro, probably the 15" too, mainly because the two higher end 15" have 9600M.

im looking into the 13in and it has the 9400M and will do the trick no problem. plus you can always connect to a larger monitor so a 15in isnt really needed.

just soup up you macbook, (like give it a huge hard drive, and stuff), for about $1600, and they just send you a macbook pro. (at least thats what they did for me.) im pretty sure they made a mistake but i was soo stoked when i got it. it could have been a 1 tome thing though. id say worth a shot. you're getting a legit computer either way.
