Melatonin and Dreams

I have been taking 1.5g of Melatonin about an hour before I go to sleep, and besides setting me up for a good nights' rest, it gives me weird dreams that I can remember.

One was chewing on the jawbone of a dog skeleton and breaking all of my teeth.

another one was that I was playing pingpong with my best friend and two strange girls.  One of the girls made fun of me for being bad at pingpong, and I came up with an insult consisting of

"You know how on the Oregon trail they had those wagons?  Well take one of the covers off of those wagons, cut it up and press it into the shape of a human body, thats what you are"

I know that there are a lot of people who are interested in lucid dreaming, and I think if you take a small doseage of melatonin before sleep, you will have better luck...that or you will remember useless and messed up dreams.

i got sunburned hard last week and had the most vivid dreams they straight freaked me out. i dont even wanna explain em they were real fucked up and the colors were insane.

anyway, do you get this shit at the store or what?

^^ Yeah, its a supplement, really easy to find in the store.  It doesn't fuck you up or anything, and you get the best results when you find your perfect dose.  I have worked it out that I break a 3mg tab and take one half, an hour before bed.

Don't take too much, I hear it will make you want to sleep all the next day, even if you got your 8 hours.

I eat melatonin about every other night to keep my sleeping pattern normal. But I pop 3 3mg (9mg total) tabs a night. It gives you the greatest sleep ever and I always wake up feeling rested and ready to go. I always have the craziest dreams too, but they're usually really peaceful and happy.

I love that shit.

And there's no ill effects, it's naturally created by your brain and some studies link a lack of melatonin to breast cancer.

The reason you may be remembering your dreams is because you're waking up out of REM sleep instead of Stage 2. When you wake up during REM you always remember your dream, whereas when coming out of Stage 2 remembering is difficult.

i lived on melatonin during school, i had some very odd dreams that i could only remember like 5 minutes after i woke up, but they felt extremely vivid.

I just popped two meltaonin I usually only take one and holy shit. My TV's at 50 and it sounds like its ten. I feel like its 2 and I havent fallen asleep yet (That insanely tired feeling) it doesn't get you high but gives you that tired effect so you can go to sleep. I reccomend it. Just had to bump for this.

This isn't some drug or something... its just a hormone and when you take a pill of it it just makes you a little more sleepy and helps you sleep better. And sleeping better often helps remembering dreams easier

I've never done melatonin before... but I know my dreams are especially vivid any time I'm really hungry and physically exhausted (like on a camping trip or canoe trip).

I've been having an insane amount of skiing dreams lately.  Shreddin trails that look something like SSX with loops in the trail and shit.  Every dream always involves me losing my skis.

If you take too much or in high doses you can mess up your sleep patterns I think. Maybe something with hormones too, idk exactly I haven't read about it or taken any in a long time.

L is legal too if you get a medical card. Oh wait that green. I guess L is still a felony

bumping this cause i took a 10mg supplement last night at about 9:30 and i was out cold like 20 minutes later. crazy stuff, i almost felt myself falling asleep. it was strange. then i proceeded to dream about early season skiing. There was this big ass jump (huge jump) and my friend went off it, landed right in the middle of landing and torpedoed through the snow like 20 feet. and it felt so weird. it was like it actually happened.
