man... i gotta say, ther's some really good shit in this thread.
When i fractured my collarbone I spent my recovery time skiing switch EVERYWHERE, and skied a lot of bumps after 3 weeks. All this really helped my park skiing with balance, stance, and switch 3's.
Haha yeah I told the guy I was seeing last year to tell me to "stop being a bitch" or something like "youre being a fucking pussy just do it" if I was too scared.
And honestly, every time he said that in a serious voice, I would straight up send it, and most of the time it works out for the best.
Having a good mixture of supportive friends and competitive friends to take you down a few notches does wonders. Also, skiing as much as possible... I went up 65 times last season... even took a semester off, and I am 4 times better at snowboarding than I was at the beginning of the season
