i know there are other threads about the movie, but they are old and i dont feel like bumping them.

This movie is fucking amazing. I just watched it for the second time. It actually makes me feel like a bitch. one, for being american, and two - because i donno if i would ever do that shit. these fuckers just brawl over soccer teams! i mean i will fight if i have to and have, but these guys love getting punched in the face. one of my favorite lines is "Once you've taken a few punches and realise you're not made of glass,you don't feel alive unless you're pushing yourself as far as you can go."

I wouldnt dare even wear the colour green on the west end of town... Going into a place like Bridgeton or something at night wearing a celtic top is pretty much just asking to get a knife in the back, or at least a trip to the hospital for a few days...

haha, on sundays the train doesn't stop at dalmarknock, and you have to get off a bridgeton. Celtic were playing hearts to win the league on a sunday. Once we got off the train there was a huge orange walk on. There was 6 of us in celtic tops and scarf’s, i was scared shitless , luckily the orange walk was heading the other way and we sneaked past. Then my dad’s drunk friend decided to shout "Ya Dirty H*N Bastards" at them thought we were going to die, good job i can run reasonably fast, we all hide in a pub. most scared i have ever been. It is funny now but at the time it defo wasn’t.

Orange walks are so dumb... get over it guys... 1690 was a hell of a long time ago and means pretty little nowadays...

i used to live in a suburb of london called high wycombe and i remember being downtown at night when wycombe lost agaist some team. there was a pretty sizable riot/fights and a van ended up getting tipped.
