tomorrow at 10:01 facebook is letting you have a username for your page, i was thinking everyone on NS should put their ns username as their fb username so recognizing or finding fellow ns members would be very hassle-free
Anyway, a gas station we pass. We got gas, and ran off to get grub.It was a nice little pub in the middle on nowhere. Anywhere woulda been better. I ordered enchiladas and I ate 'em, Ali had the fruit punch.
Honestly I think Facebook usernames is going to be a pretty retarded idea. It's just a way to appeal to the younger crowd so if they thing "Sarah Smith" is a dumb name, she can be xXxih4v3th3b1gg3stb00bsin6thgradexXx.
The only reason for this is so that you can more easily link someone to your facebook page. When you meet someone and say "add me on facebook", unfortunately not there are probably a ton of people with the same name (and most people are to dumb to used the advanced search).
So instead of saying search for me, you just say go to facebook.com/johnB and add me. They have already been doing this for celebrities it isn't a big change. Simply a url change.
i dont agree with the idea but its being done for benefits i guess. half the reason i made a fbook account and never a myspace was because facebook was classy and legit. myspace was full of lurkers and freaks who competed to have the most friends, or have people or celebrities they dont know as their top friends.
IF that's directed towards me, I'm not saying anything about it selling out.. I was saying there is nothing wrong with the way it was, so why change it? It's an if it's not broke then don't try to fix it type scenario.
But whoever brought up there being numerous people with the same names, that is a good point. Is that actually why they changed it?
