why would you spend your money on camp when you can spend it on heli-skiing, they cost about the same, but heli-skiing is so much more fun and alaska is pretty cheap!!

well the camp does have the whole social aspect of hanging out on a glacier with a whole bunch of pros throwing down huge for a week whereas heliskiing gives you untracked pow lines and some wicked downhills, it depends what you're into. Personally I would choose heli but then again I would also want to go to camp, they would both rule

i've heard heli skiing is about 300-400 american per day. camp is 1300 for 8 or 9 days which is less than 150/day, which includes all the summer stuff (wakeboarding, water ramps, paintball, mt. biking, etc) too. Annd i'd have a pretty tough time convincing my parents to send me to alaska to heli ski for a week.

In NZ you could eat for NZ$20 a day, hitch a ride to the hill and down every day, stay at the backpackers for NZ$10 a night, season pass for NZ$200 and what more do you need?? you could ski a whole season for like US$500, not including air fare though.
