East and West Park

trying to get an idea for a trip next year and wanted to know what resort in the east coast along with the west would you say has the best park(s)... length, Features, conditioning ect.

well i liked mount snow better but loon had much better jumps, mt snow lots of rails, and lots of hits, not as crowded as loon either

Mammoth is my favorite place in the world.  Make sure you go after April 1st.  There's still 12feet of snow up top and the park is in prime shape, it's a little warmer, but most importantly- It's not crowded.  Longest lift line I've waited in was 3 minutes, each year I go right after April 1st.

Mount snow has a wayyy better park than stowe, but stowes got the pow and the steeps.

Keystone and Breck are pretty comparable, some people say breck's better, some say keystone's better. but both mountains are like 20 minutes from eachother so you could just make a trip out there, and ski both over a couple days. and if there's powder hit up, a basin(like 20 min. from breck), beaver creek(like 40 min. away) or vail(can be up to 2 hours).

Loon over Mt. Snow any day. Loon is the best on the east by far. As for West Breck or PC.

a basin sucks. and vail is just under an hour from breck, while the beav is like an 1 hour and 20 or so.

For the east loon is good but always really slow on getting their park built. I would go with Snow.  They should have even more improvement for next year too. I wish snow was farther north. Then they would be the first open and last to close by a ton.

Deer valley technically has a park, it normally consists of 2, 2 foot long boxes, and moguls. I wouldn't say deer valley is a place to go for park.

the good thing about DV is its all old farts like my dad who ski the groomers. and then there is the occasional older ripper who kicks ass. but for the most part get off the groomers and you are by yourself!

definitely mount snow for east. dont really know much bout west parks. but if stratton actually opens the US open park to public that is definitely a contender to mount snow.

loons lifts are shit
you can take the ganjala to ride up to the top of the mtn and ski the whole park, or take this smaller double and get access to half the park, or their progression park... Mt Snow definately for east coast. WAYY too crowded at loon
