colorados awesome but i wouldnt say its the coolest state. there are way to many people here. in my opinion montana is my favorite place that i have lived its a lot more mellow and relaxed than most places and doesnt have a lot of people also the scenery is amazing. also i think washington is a cool place been there a bunch but everytime i go there its always raining or about to rain i dont know how people can put up with that type of weather.

Utah was rated the best state to live in by MSN. Lowest unemployment, and all that jazz.... Plus tons of Mtns within a short drive. And the snow is ridiculous! One thing is for sure, Connecticut is one of the crappiest states!!

i love washington state. lived here for almost my whole life. for spokane in the winter we got 5 mountain to ski at within 2 hours (the closest being half an hour away). in the summer its only a a short ride to some sick biking trails, got the gorge only a few hours away to see great summer concerts. hoods only 5 hours away and whistler is only 6 hours away for some summer sking. got seattle and the ocean only 5-6 hours away. a true 4 seasons. best place in the US

I live in colorado and it gets way too hot anywhere below boulder in elevation.

loved living in colorado, but washington has got it beat on several levels. we have ocean, which even if you don't think you will miss living near it, you definitley do (assuming you grew up near it). and basically what grant said

new fucking england is the best. we have some decent mountains, REAL cities(none of that pussy denver or seatle shit), the ocean, a huge indoor skatepark, good mountain biking, woods, lakes, white water rafting, and good sports teams (probably a bad time to say it though).
