Subwoofer and Amplifier Question

Hey, I was wondering if anyone knew anything about car sound systems.  I have this subwoofer already and I am wondering what kind of amp to buy for it.

depends how much money you wanna spend. That sub that you have isnt any thing high powered, so you could easily get by with a $75.00 Jensen amp from walmart/target.

1) that sub sucks balls, sorry to tell you
2) get an amp that has rms of 100w
3) upgrade to a better amp/sub because you wont even realize that you have a sub with that setup

either a single channel 125 watt amp

or a bridgeable 75 watt dual channel amp

if i was you, cash out the extra scrilla on a 1000 watt kenwood amp with 300 rms. then, when your sub blows upgrade to a alpine type r, and its all in the wiring from there.

yeah, i kinda realized it sucks, i'm selling that to one of my friends. i'll ask you guys later when i get a new sub.
