Is it a golf game?  The 'Stat' part has me confused.

If so, does it use the accelerometer or the touchscreen to swing?

to the guy above, its probably a game and by stat he meant quickly.

hopefully they use the touch screen to swing.

Ya sorry stat meant quick.  It uses the touchscreen to swing.  You pull the swing meter back and push it forward to swing.  You can draw and fade the ball by pulling back and up to the side a bit.  You put spin on the ball in the air by spinning it with your finger.  Best golf game ever, I highly recommend it.
