It is a good idea, but unfortunately as of now it would not be able to be HD. DVD's cannot be made in HD unless you use Blu-Ray, which no one has.

Still Jon, you should consider it.

DVD players do not have the ability to read HD, nor do DVD's themselves have the ability to store HD video in a compatible format to be read by DVD players and TVs. This is the whole point of Blu-Ray, the ability to have HD video on a "DVD" that can be played through your TV.

So although videos such as Hunting Yeti, JOSS videos, and etc. are all in HD when online, if (and in Hunting Yeti's case, it has already happened) they decide to make a DVD out of the footage, it must all be dumbed down into SD in order to work on both DVDs and your DVD player.
