so im thinkin bout growin my hair out and getting locks...anyone have them/had them?

is it true about the whole 'it takes up half of ur hair length' thing?

go for it man, unless you roll your hair in shit, i don't think it will smell that bad. i went 3 months without washing my hair and it didn't smell at all. dreads also look better if your are capable of growing beard

dont get me wrong dreads are cool, im just not sure how hey will be recieved.  you need to make sure that you are in fact CAPAGE of growing dreads, theres this one kid, indian, at my school who thought everyone would like him if he started growing dreads.  it didnt work cuz his hair was so thin, they looked like spazed out cornrows. now he looks like a doucher and nobody likes him still.  be careful if you wanna grow dreads

definitely get em

i had them for a while and they were so sick. definitely a lot of work, but dont use was except for when you are putting them in... i thought it was fuckin disgusting. all i ever did was roll mine with my hands, backcomb them, and every once in a while i put some of that lock peppa shit in them from www.dreadheadhq.com
