Binding Durability Issues - Need Help

I have recently snapped the toe piece off both sets of my Rossignol Axial2 120's and bent both metal heel tracks soo badly to the point where the heel piece sits sideways on the ski. I am in desperate need of a new binding but it needs to be burly as fuck.

Im 6'4" 170 pounds. I usually ride at an 11. Ive been looking to the STH 14's and the Griffons/Jesters

I need some suggestions for some very durable bindings. I havent found too many usefull reviews on here.

You must be pretty hard on your bindings

I'd look into Rossi FKS155 or Sally STH16

look px 12 brah..there on the cheaper side..and are a bit heavier..but they are durable as fuck..

I dont consider myself hard on my equipment. Its the first time ive ever had problems with them. Both sets broke in exactly the same spot. How do the STH 14's  compare to the STh 16's in reference to the new toe design?

Well i don't know how you can't be hard on your equipment if you snapped both toes and bent both heeltracks?!

In any case the STH16 has the Driver toe which is bomber

Who knows, maybe you just got unlucky with your previous bindings

oh my god no! sorry but sth 120s usualy dont last a 12 year old more than a year. Its a miracle that it didnt break only from you popping your boot in. those bindings are no good in my book for freestyle unless you weigh under 100 pounds. I dont know a single person at my hill who hasnt had repeated problems with these bindings. For bomb bindings I would go with look. very strong. I forgot the name but I think its the px12.... go for that, 2.5 years of hard skiing and the only thing messed up is cosmetic. Those things are indestructable

FKS 155 or S916/STH916 is what you should be looking for, or if you want the 914(STH or S), be sure to go with the Driver model. It is the same toe as the 16's

Dude he didn't have STH12s, he effectively had px12's which is why I was surprised that he destroyed them

i use sth 12's and i weigh 145 5'11", no issues, ride harder than half the people in ehre, not as good in teh park, but i charge. They have held up better than my px 12 ti's. I have more days on my sth 12's than on my px 12's and they have held up better. don't get me wrong, i think teh px 12 is a more dependable and better built binding, but i like my sth 12 just as much

You should look into a titanium binding, something like an FKS 15 with a pivoting toe and heel, they are solid. You will probably break the ski before you damage the binding. Don't get anything on a track, stay away from Griffon/Jester since both of them are on heel tracks and plastic toe baseplates.

I'm pretty sure I've never heard anyone say anything bad about the Tyrolia Peak 15/18 (or Head Mojo 15/8).  I think that's my next binding.

I'm having similar issues.  I will admit I'm hard on my gear, but I broke the heel tab on my PX12s then replaced them with tyrolia LD12s I got 3 days and then traveled to Australia for the southern season.  They were broken in transit.  I ripped a pair of older tyrolia 12s off an old pair of skis and they lasted a season and a bit.  I just broke the heel piece at the lateral twist portion.  I'm not going really big, I just suck and knuckle from time to time.  I really liked the PX 12s, and I thought the break was weird.  So It seems i should go with the the Looks again. I would also like to know where to get wide brakes for FKS bindings.

fischer x17...jesters...px18...STH 16 too...anything like 16+ in din. Solid bindings.

My Jesters have been great. The track on them is plastic, which could be a good or bad thing in your case. Plastic won't bend, it will just snap. That being said you would have to be VERY hard on them to snap the track. Mine have been bomber....that being said, I would have said my PX14's were durable too and you seem to have done them in.

I've got Tyrolia LD 12's too and while they haven't given me too much trouble, I would never get them again.  I'm a big dude though (6'3", 240) and any 12 DIN binding is pretty much going to be too small for me.  I think I have faith in their higher DIN models though.

Eric Hjorlefson was a die hard Solly S916 rider until the new Deadbolt 18s came out this year.  If he trust them off of 100 foot cliffs, I would too.

I haven't ever seen an FKS binding break.  I haven't done anything more than bend a brake on either of mine, fucking tanks.

Jesters....Jeff Straight broke his and he is only around 5' 5" and maybe 140 lbs.  I've seen a few go in person too from some pretty mellow stuff.  I don't trust those yet, maybe if they tweak a few things.

just go with fks155/185 or p15/18 if you can find them on here or tgr. you wont be dissapointed.

If you are breaking toe pieces too, you don't want a sth16. If going salomon's, try to find some s916's. The sth 16 still has a ton of plastic in the toe (i.e. old 912 toe with some more plastic). The heel pieces are the same between the s916 and sth16.

Otherwise, find some px15's. They have a wormscrew and a much bomber heelpiece assembly, as well as an all metal toe.

i had a friend bent the heel piece out of the track on his px 12's on a washout

they have too much plastic for someone who slaughters bindings
