Pettiion to keep Shane on the front page

Everyone here on ns has been effected by the loss of a great in someway, to some he was a friend, others he was an idol, and to others he was just a fellow skier, all the more, its get to you

now i woke up this morning to see joss now on the front page, and still this rail jam fella as the display page, we need a tribute to shane in some way for atleast a week, seeing joss on the front was almost like ns was moving on already, like it was old news now... i understand that new news needs to be shown, but we need a way to give him the memorial he deserves..

Agreed and seriously I was insanely dissappointed to find JOSS top story after coming back from a ski trip all weekend with no internet. COME ONE!  So sick of JOSS already, now I'm just pissed.  RIP Shane.

Guys...relax. I knew Shane and am absolutely devastated and heartbroken over this along with everyone I'm out here at JOSS with. He is going to be on the front page asap but we're just waiting on a shot right now from a photographer. I assure you it'll be up soon, and I apologize for the delay.

its not that easy to just throw a front page up. you cant just steal some dudes photo and use it, you have to get permission give credit.

I still have not seen any news about Shane's death on TV. I personally sent emails to each of the local news station giving background about Shane and how he progressed the sport so much. I made the analogy of him being like a Tiger Woods for the skiing community. Still haven't seen shit.

that does sound cool, but .... we lost him again.  Thank you NS for dedicating the frontpage for awhile to SM and I think it conveyed his goofy, wonderful self in that collage.  However, it still seems soon to move on to even an amazing JOSS follow cam shot.  Gone from the front but not forgotten

Yeah he would have for sure. I just really liked that background cause Shane always reminded me that skiing is all about having fun. Dumont kills it, but does not seem like he has fun at all. Just my opinion.
