tried it for my first time today
first time being that much inverted to feels so cool
but on my first one it was so fucked
i landed on my ass and when me skis hit the snow they were sitting straight up but when
they hit they no joke flew 20 feet in the air and almost hit me
when i stood up to look for my skis they were each like 50 ft away from me haha
so weird

when i tried it didnt hurt at all
i mean my ass hurt but nothing bad i got up right away
you have to commit the fuck out of it though if you want to land first try

ive been doint them for a while, and i tryed one off a backflip kicker that was like straight up yesterday. it popped me so hard i couldnt go straight forward haha so i ended up doing a misty. sal good!
not to thread jack, but since we are talking about beginner flips, i need some help on lincolns. i have done them into pow and landed on my side, but im just scared that it would really hurt to slam my legs into the ground as I'm coming around if it isnt a soft landing. i dont think i would be able to gte the full rotation the first time, so does it really hurt that bad to hit sideways?

earlier this season, i overshot a ~35 footer with a landing thats probably as long as the table. i did a lincoln japan, recognized i had been to fast and pussd out. i landed down in the flat pretty much on my side (i guess thats what you were talking about).

i stood up like nothing (CLAIM), shook off the little shock and went on. no really, i was lucky, but if its not a huge kicker, than you should be fine. imo, lincolns are the easiest of all inverts, cuz you can spot the landing at least as good as on a backie and the rotation is easier to set as a front.

just lift your outside leg on the lip and pull your inside arm/shoulder down. stay calm
