Neck troubles...help

ok so i woke up this morning with a horrible pain in my neck ( upper neck rightside feels like a muscle). I couldnt move my hed for like 4 hours of laying in bed . Now i can move my head a little bit to the left and it still hurts to move to the right, Yesterday i played some full contact LAX with my freind i hit the ground hard a couple times but nothing that i felt hurt my neck. Then i went to the skate park and biked around but didnt fall. those were the only to physical sports i did yesterday.

i was wondering if anyone else as felt this beforee and or knows how to fix my neck

SPARKNOTES: woke up this morning with horrible pain in my neck and i would like a way to fix it.

kinda happened to me once before. i dint really do anything physical the day before either and basically slept on the couch guess layed weird but the next day i couldnt turn my head right it hurt a lil to go left. basically relaxed as much i could but only thing that fixed it was time took two days and it was all better

sounds like a slipped disc... i did slipped a disc doing squats without a spotter when i was younger (and dumb as shit)

if you have a hottub it will really help, or maybe just a hot shower... do some mild stretching in the shower (never stretch your neck when its cold)

if it stays the same/gets worse see a doc or go to physio and they will give you a nice neck massage and get your disc moving again

maybe u just slept on it reall wrong...ive slept in a bad position and my necks killed for a day or two...take a hot bath and just ice/heat it

dont ice it, that will just tighten up the muscles and make it worse.

you most likely slept on it wrong and its just really stiff.
i would take a hand towel (not washcloth) put some
warm water on it and throw it in the microwave. wrap it around
your neck and just like massage it. if it still hurts like 3 days from
now...go see your doc.
