Cheap foods for when you're broke as a joke.

I just bought 18 tinas burritos, 2 bunches of bananas and a 24 pack of top ramen for like 15 bucks.. should last me about 2 weeks if I starve myself a little.



anyone else out there know of any cheap food that is mmm mmm good?

one sentence... PIZZA NIGHT AT THE MISSION. have it in great falls mt. little ceasers. 5 bucks for a fresh cooked pizza... and the GRILLED EGG SANDWICH. cook some eggs. (one or two) toast some bread. get a few slices of chease and mayonase and put in the sandwich.. add tomato or lettuce as necesary. like 70 cents a sandwich.

When it comes down to it rice to tough to beat.  There is a reason they eats lots of rice in poor countries.  Don't starve yourself, just buy rice, plain pasta, and bread.  Get some good spices and cheap multi vitamins.  Buy whatever fruit or vegtable is on the cheapest sale for the week, and if you got the money get some milk or meat.  Tunas a good one.  Now look at that, your eating pretty good.

Rice, eggs, cheese, hotsauce,  tortillas and pees and bananas. ALl super cheap and can make so much with them. Also Kill a deer like that guy said. My roommate did last year and we had meat for 5 months.

true...but frozen pizza is where its at. i live off that in the winter..and theres different variety of all of those things. you can buy a lot of things cheap..its just a matter of finding it.

especially when pizza's go on sale for X number of pizza's for $10. stock up sale! cupon clipping is where its at!

sometimes the banquet frozen meals go on sale 10 for $10!

at superstore in my town you can get a 12 pack of muffins for about $6 and there huge i think its like 3-4 kg

I can't believe this. Not one person has mentioned Gas Station hot dogs. If you get the speedway rewards you can get like, every 5 hotdogs for free. And they're a bug. No buns to cost money, and you can have relish and onions and all that jazz. And if you get one drink. Free refills ftw.

Farmers Markets for most produce is a lot cheaper and more amazing than at the grocery store.

Meat is expensive too... and replacing some of it with beans and lentils and tofu.... if you can stand not being a carnivore that is.

you can get crazy cheap samosas at some places, near my place there's a shop that has 3 for a dollar. it used to be 5. and they're good.

I live in greenland, so it's pretty hard to find food that's cheap here. but we have like reindeers we can hunt, fish, seals, berrys , all sort of dope stuff. so like, in my freezers i have 3 kinds of fish, a whole reindeer, seal, 2 different kind of birds and ALOT of berrys. mhmmm. so i'm aight.

get top ramen as a staple.

huge 3lb bags of rice for 10 bucks. lasts months and has lots of protien

get a wide variety of fruits+vegies. get minute made fruit juces. theyre amazing and very good for you with their vitamins

drink milk for strong bones. cant ski with a broken leg...

get the occasional meats, preferably beef.

sams club free samples. grocery store free samples. if your mountian has a french vanilla creamer machine thats free, i fill cups up about half an inch and sip it slowly. it actually tasts amazing and just like lucky charms. i also mix the mcdonnalds barbacue and katchup and lick it out of the little cups. mad good.

get tea. its really cheap and is full of good stuff for you and all you need is water.

buy store brand 3 liter soda bottles or 140oz+ gas station fountian sodas. both for about $1.25.

10 cents for 5 koolaid packets that make a full pitcher each with 1 cup of sugar each.

cheap bread...

get a fishing lisence. get good at trout fishing. just make sure that its safe to eat from the river you catch them in. even if its clean, alot of rivers are contaminated or have pcbs../hunt deer. free foodz for long tiemz

get concentrate juices. those things are way cheap and the OJ is better than shit in a bottle. plus, when your eating that much ramen, your going to get a vitamin C deficiency but this will counter act it.

Blackberries and huckleberries are free when in season already got 8 gallons of huckleberries this season and dry out super small. Hope to get 20 gallons total this season. Oh and beans corn are super cheap in bulk.
