i stuck my first 3 off a table. but that was after all the practising on smaller jumps not in the park.

backcountry guinnea pigging it is sweet, you should see these guys going for it... they wanna stomp huge on first tracks... look at peps rag doll in 1242... that was a guinnea jump. Paid the price.

last year I guinnea pigged a huge lip a bunch of boarders put on top of a table with a sweet 540 tail, luckily they did a good job on it.
First hit of the year this year, first hit on the first table, mute 3.

threes seem to be a lot easier to throw off booters than they are off tables. landings come into play when you hit tables; if you fuck up your fucked. therefore judgement is a factor whenever you hit them. i suggest guinea pigging a table with a simple grab or straight air. where as backcountry booters might be safer to guinea pig into powder with a spin or maybe an invert. besides tables are accessable via chair so you don't have to hike. you have plenty of time to hit the table all day you might as well play it safe rather than capping it and ending up with broken shit.

iwwww. schooler stop talking like that. i spin off of every jump in a park the first time i hit it. i have much more control over my body when i'm spinning than i do when i am straight airing for some reason. plus it's much more fun to spin off something the first time you hit it.

I always am the first to hit a new booter out of my friends. I usually just do a mute or something. Save the big spins for when I have the speed dialed.
