No idea specs on comp, got it from a friend and put it in a closet, I doubt it can do anything spectactular

nope sorry.
I have the same computer and I don't think it could keep up with the demands of modern graphics software.

My year old macbook has problems with photoshop and what not sometimes, I'd be surprised if it could open photoshop without crashing.

Nothing wrong with the computer, its just that the requirements for video editing, photoshop etc. are so ridiculous now.
