(Coming from a Big Mountain Skiier) I just want to know if any of you have oneseys, because I never see anyone with one, especially in the park. I have a DC onesy that I purchased this year, and I must say..that shit is off the HOOK! I was iffy about getting it when I saw it in the catalog, but I have no regrets. The extra benefits about a onesy:
You NEVER get any snow up your back. EVER!
When you have to pull in the trees and take a piss...All u have to do is unzip and pull out. Then one little zip back up and your back to shreddin'! No undoing your belt and have to untuck how ever many layers of clothes you have on.
No worry about getting all your stuff together the night before you ride. All you have to do is grab your onesy with your gloves already strapped to it and dip. Of course dont forget your helmet with your gogs on it.
The only bad thing about a onesy:
When you fart...it stanks like a muhfucka! Especially if you were hungover as shit and had mudbutt from the night before. If it doesn't sit in your onesy all day then it can only go straight up.
What do you park riders think about a onesy? Why aren't any of you ever rockin' em?
i guess if your gunna have 1 outerwear setup for everything, it would be fine. but many people have various jackets and pants. and i would think a 2 piece suit in the park would make it easier to move.
when you fart in snow pants in general, it bakes. we stopped at a gas station once and some girl had her hands in her pants like holding them open to air them out, and my friends was like "you just fart?" and shes like "you caught me, it just sits in her and bakes!". he fell in love at that moment
I was going to get the Survival suit one piece last season, but then I got the two piece because it's most versatile. Like in spring, if it gets really warm out, I would cook. I generally ski in just a t-shirt and a shell because I get so hot. I would want one though for pow days. Definitely have another suit as well as having the one piece.
That's true. Ive had a few days where I just wanted to take off the top layer and throw a hoodie on. The good thing about my orange hazmat lookin suit is I got suspenders built in it so I can just unzip and let it hang. Only when Im chillin tho. I cant see myself doin that when Im ridin'.
i sewed my pants and jacket together once. it was amazing. I would totally not mind getting a onesy, but I'm also down with bib pants, there's nothing bad about that. I mostly like how free your ass feels, which is also attainable in a pair of bib pants.
