Line Anthems in Pow?

How do the anthems do in pow? I'm trying to decide between these and the lizzies, but these are 200 cheaper so I'd much rather go with these if they'll do fine in pow.......

I'm currently on K2 Silencers which are 80 in the waist.  I'm lookin for somethin a bit wider.........I need something that can handle a 15-20ft cliff at times (last one I did i just sunk as soon as i landed it.......)

Anthems are a park ski so they are pretty far away from being a pow ski.
I have them and I never ride them in pow, I use my Bacons instead, which you should look into.  They are a super fun ski.

 II use my Anthems as my everything ski, which means they've seen a fair amount of pow. Ive been happy with them. They are quite soft so they aren't very well suited for charging really fast lines in the powder, but for just cruising and jibbin they are great. Sure they aren't going to float as well as some of the wider pow specific skis but for the price they are sweet. As for cliffs I have never had any problems with them sinking too far on 15-20 footers ( those are as big as I have gone so I can't speak for their ability any higher than that) as long as the landing isnt completely flat.   So in the end if you dont want to spend the cash on the lizzies or bacons, they Anthems are probably a good option.

I use my Bacons as my everyday ski, far better ski than the Anthems which I still love on hardpack and park.  I'd say you should save your money and buy the Bacons.  Unless you just ski a ton of park, but Bacons are fun in the park anyway.

I couldn't agree more.  The Bacons handle everything so well it's hard not to get those in place of Anthems, etc.  The POW float is great and they have turned into my everyday ski for all conditions.

just came back from st anton , my anthems ripped the powder up soooo good 2 meters fresh they were awesome floated like a dream, they also rocked everywhere else deffinatly reccomend them seeing they nearly do pow as good as park

i just got the anthems and love the but there are better skis for powder. get the blends in my opinion. they are a backcountry/park specific ski. the best of both worlds

if you want a great park ski that can actually hold up on the rest of the mountain, look into the rossignol s5, 98 under foot and they kill it everywhere. it is my everything ski and im super happy with it.

I think anthems would be fine in pow, they are 90mm under foot. 6 years ago that wouldve been considered one of the fattest skis on the market. So Anthems in pow would be fine. But if you want a pow specific ski and not a park/all mountain ski i would go with lizzies.

meh... my invaders did just fine last year in about 1 foot in and a half of pow. its all preference is what it comes down to.

its not preference, half these people don't know what they are saying. Anthems are not very good in powder, they work but there not much fun. Lizzies are sick, blends are sick, anthems are cheap really fun for awhile but other skis are much nicer.
