Why is there a space between Lyons and Spakowski?

The space you refer to is on a Cop of the Year award plaque between Lyons ’64 and Spakowksi ’66. Originally there was a name in that space, Robert Milano, who was awarded the title in ’65. Milano was framed for a murder and killed himself. Because of his guilty status his award was rescinded and his name removed from the plaque, leaving a space between Lyons and Spakowski.
