If I have to get a bigger boot (from a 27.5 to a 29) will I need to remount my bindings?

So I have jesters and some P12's. Can I just adjust the heel or toe piece instead of having them remounted?

I would suggest getting them remounted just because my friend got new boots from a 26 to a 28 and he didnt get them remounted and it ended up ripping the heal piece out of his skis

I have scratch 120s on my skis and went from a 28.5 to a 27 and I was fine, but barely, like they had to slide the heel piece the max it can go in the track, and now my mount is closer to center, yours will be further back and more traditonal

you should be alright, i went from a 29.5 to a 28.5 and did not need my bindings remounted.

on my rossi axial 120s (turntable) I was able to do 26.5-28.5 with no issue with forward pressure.  Its different for each binding just because of the heelpiece track.  Either way you are gonna move back a bit from your original mounting point.

you should be fine but if you were moving the binding forward it could be aproblem if the y were center mounted because then you would have the infamous forward mount although imn not sure if your into that some people are

that's the same shell so it won't make a difference. If you switch companies it will.

ok. a broke the binding on my ski so a went out and had to buy new bindings which are getting mounted!but whislt in the shop a stupidly bought full tilts konflict 28.5, my old impact 8 boot being a 28, didnt think there was much in a half size maybe bigger but the boot is too small:(so now the bindings are being mounted on a boot size 28.5 instead of my old boots 28.

what's wrong with going down to a smaller size? i bet most of the people in a 27 SHOULD be in a 26. This season I'm going to try and go down into a 25. FYI, my foot measures just over 9.5 on your standard brannock.

And to the OP... jumping from a 27 to 29? I bet it's too big on you, who fitted you?

i wasnt saying anything was wrong with it but if your boots were fitted properly to begin with then you wouldnt need to go down sizes.
